Ashley Massaro, better known simply as Ashley (born May 26, 1979 in Babylon, Long Island, New York) is a model and Diva currently working for World Wrestling Entertainments RAW brand. She is the winner of the 2005 RAW Diva Search.

2005 RAW Diva Search
Ashley Massaro came to the WWE in June 2005 as a contestant for the 2005 RAW Diva Search. Massaro competed against Leilene Ondrade, Cameron Haven, Elisabeth Rouffaer, Kristal Marshall, Leyla Milani, Simona Fusco, and Summer DeLin during the seven week contest. Each week the finalists would try to win the fans votes when they competed against eachother in different contests. These included Sgt. Slaughters Bikini Boot Camp, a talent competition, a hotdog-eating contest, and a Queen of the Mountain gladiators tournament. After beating the seven other contestants, Ashley was declared the winner on the August 15, 2005 edition of Raw. She won $250,000 and a one year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
WWE Diva
Ashley made her first official WWE appearance as a hired Diva on the August 21, 2005 pre-SummerSlam edition of Heat to conduct interviews with the fans, including WWE Legends Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young. Later that night, Ashley made her first appearance at a pay-per-view event, with Candice Michelle, Maria Kanellis, Stacy Keibler, and Torrie Wilson as they washed Mr. McMahons limo in bikinis.
The following night on Raw, Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson called out Ashley, claiming they wanted to welcome her to Raw. After Ashley came out, Candice and Torrie then turned heel and beat down Ashley. The next week on RAW, Torrie and Candice said they wanted to apologise to Ashley. Reluctantly, Ashley accepted their apology. Torrie and Candice said that they felt so bad that they pulled some strings and got Ashley her first ever match…against Victoria. Victoria then hit the ring and nailed Ashley with the Widows Peak for the victory. Ashley was beat up by Torrie, Candice and Victoria for the following two weeks, until she wised up and brought the returning champion, Trish Stratus out to even the odds.
At the 2005 Unforgiven pay-per-view, Trish and Ashley defeated Torrie and Victoria (with Candice). After Ashley disrobed Candice on Raw the following night, the Ladies in Pink demanded a bra and panties match at WWE Homecoming. Despite the numbers disadvantage, Ashley and Trish won the match.
After a debuting Mickie James allied herself with Trish and Ashley, Massaro was involved in the annual Fulfill Your Fantasy Battle Royal at Taboo Tuesday for the Womans Championship. This year, the fans chose lingerie for the divas to wear. During the match, Ashley was able to eliminate Candice Michelle before being eliminated by Victoria. Trish Stratus went on to win the match, with a little help from Mickie James. On a RAW show dedicated to the late Eddie Guerrero, Ashley competed in a nine-diva interpromotional Battle Royal, but was the third diva eliminated. Smackdown! diva Melina was the eventual winner.
In December 2005, Ashley was one of the WWE Superstars who visited Afghanistan to perform for the troops. On RAWs Tribute to the Troops special, Ashley teamed up with Trish Stratus to face Candice Michelle and Maria Kanellis in a Santas Helper Diva Tag Team Match. Candice won the match for her team when she rolled up Ashley in the corner. After the match, all four divas mingled with the troops at ringside.
On the January 2nd, 2006 edition of RAW, Ashley came to the ring to defend fellow WWE Diva Maria Kanellis against the Ladies in Pink stable. She proceeded to take out Candice Michelle and Torrie Wilson with a double clothesline, and tackled Victoria but eventually got caught with a double DDT by Torrie and Candice, branded a Double D.....DDT by Jonathan Coachman. Mr. McMahon eventually announced via WWE.com Unlimited that Ashley, along with the 4 other women involved in the altercation, would take part in the first ever Bra and Panties Gauntlet match, which will be held at New Years Revolution 6 days later. Ashley went on to win the match by being the final Diva left still wearing her clothes (although the final elimination, which she gained on Victoria, was somewhat aided by inteference by The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young who had already removed Victorias top). After the match, Ashley gave the fans a treat by stripping down to her bra and panties.
Feud with Mickie James
Ashley would get another chance to challenge her friend Trish Stratus for the WWE Womens Championship at the RAW following New Years Revolution. Ashley did win the match, however it would be by DQ when Mickie James (who had just fought Stratus 24 hours earlier at NYR for the Womens title) interfered and turned tweener by attacking Ashley, thusly earning Trish the DQ but safely retaining the belt seeing as the title could not change hands via DQ. A visibly upset Ashley went to the back followed by Trish, who was attempting to try to apologize for James actions. Ashley told Trish that as long as Mickie was hanging around with Trish, she was going to stay away from Trish after calling Mickie a psycho.
On the January 16, 2006 edition of RAW, Ashley, Trish, and Mickie had a six diva tag team match against Torrie, Candice, and Victoria. Before the match, Mickie walked in on Ashley and Trish talking about her in the locker room. Mickie apologised to Ashley for attacking her last week, and the three of them head to the ring. During the match Trish tagged Ashley into the ring. Ashley accidentally knocked Mickie off the apron and Mickie snapped, attacking Ashley again. Trish pulled her off and while she was confronting her about it on the outside, Victoria gave Ashley the Widows Peak for the win.
On the January 23 edition of RAW Trish Stratus teamed up with Ashley to take on Victoria and Candice. When Mickie James found out about the match, she confronted her idol, Stratus, and wondered why she was tagging with Ashley instead of her. Mickie was broken up about it, but said she’d have to learn to accept what Trish wanted to do. Trish and Ashley worked well as a team, and Ashley was able to land a flying bodypress on Victoria for the pin. Following the pinfall, Mickie James ran to the ring and attacked Ashley. Trish tried to separate them, but Mickie went right back at Ashley and leveled her with a Mick kick. Mickie finally left, but the damage had been done. It was later announced that Mickie will face Ashley at the Royal Rumble and Trish would be the special referee.
Ashley lost to Mickie James at the Rumble. Trish Stratus didnt look too happy. The next night Ashley interrupted a Trish Celebration which was presented by Mickie James. She told Trish she was going to put Mickie in her place and said to her that Trish thinks just what the fans think, she is a PSYCHO. The two girls brawled but Trish pulled Ashley off Mickie, which then gave Mickie the chance to nail Ashley with her Mick Kick.(Which is by the way THE lamest finisher ever)
On the February 6th edition of RAW, Ashley defeated Mickie James in a rematch from the Royal Rumble, with Trish Stratus as the special guest referee. On the February 13 edition of RAW, Ashley defeated Torrie Wilson.
Injury
Ashley suffered a fractured left fibula while being eliminated from the womens Battle Royal on February 20. She is expected to be out of action for at least the next two to three months. Upon further medical consultation, it was decided that because of the spiral crack in her left fibula, Ashey would need surgey. Ashley had undergone successful surgery to have a plate positioned in her leg and as of now, is recovering. She will also be wearing a cast for the next four weeks (2/20-3/13 approximately).

Ashleys entrance music is Audioslaves Be Yourself, that is the same song that was used in the WWE RAW 2005 Diva Search.

Ashley Massaro has appeared in many publications and events. She has competed in Miss Hawaiian Tropic pageants and has appeared in FHM, Stuff, Maxim, cover of FLEX (magazine) . Massaro has also hosted several E! Channel Wild On! episodes . Massaro also appeared on Breaking Bonaduce as Danny Bonaduces personal trainer. Her most recent appearance was a pictorial in the January 2006 issue of Maxim Magazine (US edition). Ashley is also scheduled to appear in the 2006 edition of the WWE Divas magazine that will be on newsstands on February 14, 2006 as well as the cover model for FEMME FATALE magazine hitting newstands February 21st 2006.

Personal life
Ashleys father, uncle, and brother are all wrestlers. Ashley loves rock music, travelling, motorcycles, and writing. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Ashley has worked with various charity organizations, including The Box Project and World Vision.
Ashley once dated Chuck Comeau, drummer of Simple Plan and once dated WWE Superstar, Matt Hardy, as confirmed on the November 9th edition of Byte This. The couple have now split up, for unspecified reasons. Ashleys favorite bands are The Used, My Chemical Romance, and Aiden as confirmed in recent interview. Ashley is of Italian/Irish/ and mixed background.
